Unscientific Construction of Gomati Dist | UDAIPUR , April 27 (TIWN) : Gomati District Hospital at Tepania started its journey on 19th June 2012 and on the very first day Chief Minister Manik Sarkar complained that the construction agency Larsen & Turbo ( L&T) did not act on a satisfactory note regarding the construction of the hospital building . The entire design of the hospital was made for a Centrally Controlled Air Conditioned Hospital . Considering the attitude and ability of the state gov't , a gov't hospital to be run under centrally sponsored system is nothing but a day dream . But who is to be blamed ? Why didn't the Health Department and State's engineering cell look after the entire process of construction properly ? As such the patients admitted in this hospital have to go through a nightmare even if he /she has to spend only 24 hours . The condition of the patients , who are to remain on the 3rd floor is simply unbearable due to excessive heat. Tripura government's sops to set up indu | Agartala, April 27 (IANS) Tripura is offering sops, including increase of capital investment subsidy from 30 percent to 35 percent, to promote industries based on raw material available in the state. "We are unable to give government jobs to all youths. Hence, to promote entrepreneurships to set up medium, small and micro industrial units, the existing incentives were broadened," Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar told reporters here on Tuesday night. He said: "The capital investment subsidy would be raised from the existing 30 percent to 35 percent with maximum aid of Rs.60 lakh. The proposed industries must be based on local natural resources like gas, bamboo, rubber, agricultural and horticultural products." Sarkar said the state government would reimburse the contributions of industrial units towards Employees State Insurance (ESI) and Employees Provident Fund (EPF) for five years. Under the state's Swavalamban self-employment programme, the government would provide subsidy of Rs.75,000 instead of Rs.65,000 keeping the rate of subsidy at 30 percent for men and 35 percent for women. | 27-Apr-2016 |

Talking to TIWN correspondent, SP Traffic Smriti Ranjan Das said that he road blockade was shaped after a traffic man nabbed one auto driver for plying on the Kaman Chowmuhani route without any permit for the same route. He further said that the auto driver had permit for Airport road but he was carrying passenger on the Kaman Chomuhani road which triggered resentment. When the traffic man stopped him and asked for his route permit he failed to show his permit for Kaman chowmuhani route which further sparked off clash and the drivers staged road blockade. The suspension of the vehicles has caused problem for the people, as it was the working hour.
