AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): When the entire state is hit with 36 degree temperature, power cut in the state has turn life miserable in Tripura over past few days. The power crisis here in state seems to be a never ending issue. Either, due to lack of maintenance work or lack of gas supply, power generation is continuously hit and the common people are the ultimate sufferer. It is to be mentioned here that as both the prime power plant of Tripura who generate lion share of power in the state are hit with Lack of maintenance work or insufficient gas supplies over past few days resulting hue and cry among the common people with frequent power cuts and extreme hit. Ministers words and administrative words do not match at all while gathering information for Plants but the actual sufferer are the common people, who are yet to see Tripura as a “Load-Shedding-Free†state, as promised by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.
Presently all the Power Plants are suffering due to various reasons: whether it would be for maintenance work or insufficient gas supplies. On the other hand Tripura is suffering due to load-shedding.
When the dry season has just hits the state, unscheduled load shedding has been troubling the common mass very badly. There is no fixed time for the load shedding, and no prior announcement had been made for the load shedding.
Reportedly, just with the beginning of dry season the department has begun with the unscheduled load shedding creating problem for the common mass.
Despite of several tall claims by the ministerial authority of the state saying that with the commencing of Palatana and with the extension hand of the other power plants of the state, Tripura will be a load-shedding free State, till day the civilians are facing unscheduled load shedding frequently.
It is to be mentioned here that continuous load shedding is posing serious problem to the common people.
However, despite of several tall claims the state is yet hit with the unscheduled frequent load shedding in the beginning of the dry season.
Tripura is facing serious load-shedding problem due to drop of supply from within state. Life and business has been largely affected due to power cuts enforced for hours every day. Load shedding in Tripura has made life miserable as Tripura’s own power generation is down to its half of total capacity during past few days.
