‘Why can’t you provide Free Cancer Treatment if it claims having the Fastest Growing Economy ?’ asked Congress MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring in Parliament
New Delhi, July 26 (TIWN): Punjab Congress MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Friday raised the cancer issue in Lok Sabha about the free-of-cost treatment to patients.Warring said: “The government claims that India is the fastest growing economy in the world. If it is so, why cannot the government provide cancer treatment free of cost to patients rather than lowering the cost of medicines. When someone has cancer in the family, the entire family gets affected, so it is important that the government provide treatment free of cost rather than lowering the cost of medicines.”
