Ratanlal Nath's Constituency goons Attacked on Pradyot Manikya in Mohanpur SDM office allegedly in Presence of BJP Candidate, situation tensed : Stone Pelting by Miscreants, No Arrest by Police Yet
AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): BJP goons in Law Minister Ratanlal Nath's constituency Mohanpur have severely attacked Tripura Royal Scion, TIPRA Motha Chief Pradyot Manikya one day ahead of poll counting. When the Election Authority had ensured law and order maintenance, BJP goons in Ratanlal Nath's constituency were allegedly using guns, stone pelting led the TIPRA Motha leaders even unable to move out of the SDM Office. Addressing live from the SDM Office there, Pardayot Manikya told police that the BJP candidate there himself was present when he was entering and a brutal attack took place on him and TIPRA Motha leaders. Addressing live, Pradyot Manikya said, "I am under severe attacks but point to be mentioned here, neither I get afraid nor I will be afraid with such attempts. I appeal for peace and I request my people to not react to that kind of violence. Just stay calm in homes. Police have not arrested a single person and we are sitting here door-closed".
