Tripura undergoing Lawlessness, Mob viol | AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): In 4 months, Tripura’s Crime graph spiked up due to Biplab Deb led BJP Govt’s failure to enforce Law & Order, also failed to punish hooligan elements in BJP, RSS, VHP. Once again BJP led Central Govt has failed to draft law against mob-lynching even after Supreme Court’s recommendation. On Tuesday Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh told the Parliament that Central Govt will introduce law against mob-lynching ‘if necessary’ and further mentioned about 1984’s Sikh riot claiming it was the biggest mob-lynching. Amid Video, Picture evidences, ruling BJ | UDAIPUR / AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): Tripura has witnessed massive bloodshed on Tuesday during opposition's protest rally led 7 people injured in Udaipur subdivision and hospitalized. The pictures of attack have become viral where CPI-M rally was standing in pause with police after seeing the attackers in Udaipur Bazar. A group of unruly youths were running to attack the rally and the rally was in pause and the evidences of the attack is now viral. However even after the picture became viral, BJP has denied the allegation, saying, “It’s plan of CPI-M to instigate violence and to destroy the peace in Udaipur. Instead of arresting the attackers, BJP has named few CPI-M activists without a single evidence, where the viral picture reveals that CPI-M activists were standing during the attack. None of the attackers were arrested till now. Ex CPI-M Minister Badal Choudhury and other leaders have met the injured CPI-M activists at Gomati District Hospital. Biplab’s BRUTAL Era : CPI-M top l | UDAIPUR, July 24 (TIWN): Above 100 CPI-M activists faced an attack on Tuesday while walking in rally without permission as a part of nation-wide protest of Left Parties. CPI-M leaders led by Ex Minister Badal Choudhury, Ratan Bhowmik, Ex-MLA Madhab Saha were also walking in the rally at Udaipur which was a part of the national protest led by MPs and 5 Left parties at New Delhi before the Parliament. According to CPI-M’s statement, till yesterday night Badal Choudhury, Ratan Bhowmik and other top leaders were trying to get permission for the rally in Udaipur, but police did not give them permission. As a result CPI-Ms decided to walk without permission. When the rally was entering the New Town Road, they were attacked by miscreants in group. The activists escaped anyhow, whereas 7 to 8 CPI-M activists left injured. One police personnel was also injured during the clash. Lok Sabha passes bill to amend NCTE Act | AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): Parliament today passed a bill to amend the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Act seeking to provide post-facto approval to those approved institutions which are funded by the Centre or states, but do not have recognition under the 1993 law. CM Biplab’s AIIMS hospital locati | AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on Saturday has revealed his planning to convert Hapania located TMC into AIIMS. Earlier CM Biplab Deb alone had visited Budhjung Nagar area aiming to set up AIIMS hospital at there. CM’s lone visit at Budhjung Nagar without Health Minister Sudip Barman was also criticized by opposition Congress leader Gopal Roy on Friday during NSUI rally. However, today both CM and the Health Minister visited TMC lined areas and Barman has expressed desires to convert TMC into AIIMS. Sudip Barman said that Hapania area of TMC will be better for AIIMS hospital’s location.“Visited TMC & TIPS adjoining areas today to evaluate the possibility of converting /taking over TMC to AIIMS.
