AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): In 4 months, Tripura’s Crime graph spiked up due to Biplab Deb led BJP Govt’s failure to enforce Law & Order, also failed to punish hooligan elements in BJP, RSS, VHP. Once again BJP led Central Govt has failed to draft law against mob-lynching even after Supreme Court’s recommendation. On Tuesday Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh told the Parliament that Central Govt will introduce law against mob-lynching ‘if necessary’ and further mentioned about 1984’s Sikh riot claiming it was the biggest mob-lynching. CPI-M MP Jitendra Choudhury drawing attention on Central Govt’s negligence on mob-lynching said, “BJP Govt has taken the Lynching just as a section of crime but yet to point about the seriousness of it”. On the other side, one after one BJP leaders are inspiring mob-lynching leading everyday violence.

After Tripura Minister Ratan Lal Nath on June 26 spread a rumour of ‘Kidney-smuggling’ 3 lynching hit the state along with various separate incident of mob violence.

On July 22, BJP Yuva Morcha leader Joylal Das has openly asked BJP supporters while addressing in a party programme at Sabroom to break the legs and hands of CPI-M activists and following his statement CPI-M activists were mass beaten at Udaipur on yesterday during a rally.

Hitting Yuva Morcha leader Jaylal Das CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said, “Will such kind of threat work out in each Election ? Will murders diminish people’s hunger ? State doesn’t have work, people are dying in poverty but on the other side, Viswa Hindu Parishad leader is threatening BJP MLA not to interfere in Hinduism”.

The mob violence started in Tripura since Lenin’s statue bulldozing and BJP Govt’s silence over such incidents.

Tripura has witnessed massive bloodshed on Tuesday during opposition's protest rally led 7 people injured in Udaipur subdivision and hospitalized. The pictures of attack have become viral where CPI-M rally was standing in pause with police after seeing the attackers in Udaipur Bazar. A group of unruly youths were running to attack the rally and the rally was in pause and the evidences of the attack is now viral.

However even after the picture became viral, BJP has denied the allegation, saying, “It’s plan of CPI-M to instigate violence and to destroy the peace in Udaipur. Instead of arresting the attackers, BJP has named few CPI-M activists without a single evidence, where the viral picture reveals that CPI-M activists were standing during the attack. None of the attackers were arrested till now, rather cases were filed against CPI-M leaders for holding ‘unpermitted’ rally.
