AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): CPI-M MPs from West Bengal, Kerala, Tripura have raised voice against Governance of Trinamool in West Bengal and BJP in Tripura. At the same time 5 Left Parties have staged demonstration successfully today in front of the Parliament (Parliament street) before the beginning of the session with a huge numbers of leftist supporters led by top leaders as Sitaram Yechury, from Tripura Manik Sarkar. Inside the Parliament MP Jiten Choudhury, MP Jharna Das, MP Shankar Prasad Datta and other MPs of Left Parties from other states had participated in the ‘dharna’. When MPs were protesting, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) also joined from behind saying ‘We want Justice’. West Bengal CPI-M MP Muhammad Selim said, “Since 6 years at West Bengal no democracy is existing under Trinamool regime. There are constant attacks upon people on the basis of case, creed. In Tripura under the recently made BJP Govt same violence is being repeatedâ€.
While addressing media at the Parliament Street, CPI-M National General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said, “In West Bengal there are constant violence, division on the basis of religions and parties going on. Country facing mass butchery under the BJP, RSS ruling. This is not democracy".
"We have lost our comrades who were brutally murdered along with attacks upon activists and party offices in Tripura. At West Bengal the condition is day by worsening", said Yechury.
“It’s RSS/BJP which is patronizing the terror and violence in this area. So central committee of CPI-M has decided that we will organize a national level protest in this issue in front of the Parliament when the Parliament session begins, which will be organized by the Left Parties together against the murderer of democracy in Tripura & West Bengal”, Yechury added.
Inside the Parliament when MPs were addressing media, Telegu Desam Party gave moral support from behind saying “We want Justice”.
MPs were holding banners asking Trinamool, BJP, IPFT, RSS to “Go Back”.
