AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): After four and half months of the State Govt formation, there is no immediate possibility yet for 7th Pay Commission’s implementation, neither CM or Ministers committal to any timeframe. Whether Govt will give 7th Pay Commission before the 2019 Lok Sabha Election or not it’s still under cloud. Moreover, the Govt which has dismissed the various pension benefits like GPF for future employees how far it will give the benefits of 7th Pay Commission for Tripura Govt pensions it’s under doubt. Due to Assam Ex-Chief Secretary P P Verma led committee’s total failure to submit 7th Pay Commission’s report Biplab Deb led state govt is unable to implement 7th Pay Commission in time. Congress leader Gopal Roy said, “BJP has chosen to hang the fulfillment of demands and to keep the vote banks with them with fake-hopes but nothing is happening when it comes about reality. It means the govt is trying to cross their vessel safe till Lok Sabha Election, but Tripura people are intelligent enough to catch their intentions”.

“The Verma committee was formed for 7th Pay Commission’s implementation and within 3 months the committee was to place its report. However, on that time Chief Minister Biplab Deb said within 1 and half month the 7th Pay Commission’s report has to be delivered by Verma Committee, but when 4 months are on-going, the 7th Commission related report has so far not submitted”, Gopal Roy told media on July 19, NSUI rally in front of Congress Bhawan.

On Saturday (July 20), referring the Vision Document and BJP Govt’s false promises MP Jitendra Choudhury said, “Both BJP and IPFT even though were against each other but just to unseat the Left Govt from power had aligned and at extreme level the parties had misused the money and power of the Centre. From Poor, Middle class to Teachers, Govt Employees all were fooled by the BJP ahead of the Assembly Election. Through Vision Document BJP,IPFT came in power with bundles of lies”.

However, state govt has been strict to its promise saying, “All the promises in vision document will be fulfilled soon”.

Now, it’s to be seen how far oppositions claims are proven as true or Biplab Deb led Govt will successfully launch 7th Pay Commission.
