Modi govt. to ask for weekly report for | AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Aiming to lift Indian Railway with International level Railway service, Suresh Prabhu is focusing to spend double the budget after the ending of FYs 2015-2019. “After the spending of Rs. 8.56 lakh crores in these 5 years, we should spend double than this amount if we want Indian Railways to reach anywhere close to world standardsâ€, said Prabhu. However, the govt. is giving importance into 2 aspects :1. Funding, 2. Capability. For funding the Central Govt. which has already taken Rs. 1.5 lakh crores from LIC is now going for partnership with the states. “We are also partnership with state govt. for not only sources of funding, but also enhancement in management bandwidthâ€. India’s first woman Olympian Gymnast Dipa Karmakar, who missed Olympic Bronze by a whisker of 0.015 as Simone Biles of the US won the gold with an average of 15.966, while Maria Paseka (15.253) of Russia and Switzerland’s Giulia Steingrubber (15.216) took home the silver and bronze medals respectively. After the clash occurred among those students, TMC supporters rushed to College premises with TMC flags. Recently, in a drive two persons were arrested in Rastarmatha, Tripura, for carrying Cannabis worth around Rs 44 lakh, in a joint operation by the Border Security Force (BSF) and the police. Dozens of packets of cannabis were seized from their possession on Saturday. According to reports, the two men were carrying the Cannabis in a truck to Guwahati. On specific inputs, a special operation was carried out by troops of 86 battalion of the Border Security Force(BSF) jointly with the police, which recovered huge quantity of Cannabis hidden in a truck in Rastharmatha area of bordering Sepahijala district of Tripura. Blacklisted NBCC claims that Rs 25 crore | AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): 143.00 mtrs, two lane steel arch bridge at Radhanagar to be completed within next February 2017. Talking to TIWN correspondent, NBCC Project Head Amit Mallik, who is also looking after the construction of first flyover in the state, said that the construction of Rs 25 crores two lane steel arch bridge at Radhanagar is almost completed and the rest of the left of the work will be completed with February 2017. A through arch bridge, is a bridge made from materials such as steel or reinforced concrete in which the base of an arch structure is below the deck, but the top rises above it, so the deck passes through the arch. Cables or beams in tension suspend the central part of the deck from the arch, added Mallik. It is to be mentioned here that NBCC is engaged in the construction of both Flyover and two lane steel arch bridge at Radhanagar.
