BELONIA, Sep 8 (TIWN): With a slogan “KRISHI BACHAO KRISHAK BACHAO DESH BACHAO” South District committee has began its 1st Conference of All India Kishan Sabha's at Belonia Town Hall.

MP Jiten Choudhury , MP Khagen Das & Narayan Deb were also present in first All India Kishan Sabha. The 1st Conference of All India Kishan Sabha's South District committee has started today at Belonia town amidst huge enthusiasm through a massive rally attended by couple of thousand farmers.

Inaugurating the conference MP JIten highlighted the plight of the fishers who have been neglected by the successive governments at the centre. He pointed out that thousands of fishermen were losing their lives in natural calamities like storms, cyclones etc because of lack of proper warning systems for alerting them in time.
