Tripura's ‘Disaster Managementâ | AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): Agartala witnessed another episode of malfunctioning State Govt’s 'Diaster Management Peparedness' on Tuesday, when two young boys died during a maintenance work at Indranagar due to lack of rescue teams in the whole City. During a maintenance work inside a culvert tank, a boy went inside to the tank but due to excessive gas inside the whole he started to scream for help. Fire brigade was informed but as fire brigade team was late, his co-worker jumped into the tank to save his friend, but he also fall on the same trap. But when Fire Brigade came, the 2nd boy was still alive, said the eye-witnesses. Fire brigade came late, then observing the condition they declined to work on it and said, “This is not our workâ€. However, the public said that the Fire Brigade men had no oxygen mask, no oxygen gas with them and that’s why they escaped from the spot to avoid peoples fury. The name of the deceased are Subham Nama (18) & Mangal Das (26). No actions against Tripura’s mass | AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): After Tripura Assembly’s 2nd session ended, it is clear now that on July 31st no chargesheet was submitted by SIT in Tripura High Court due to Manik Sarkar Govt’s active involvement in Chit-Fund scams. In total, 70 Chit Fund cases have been reported from Tripura but surprisingly, there is no push for action from the State Govt to SIT, neither State Govt wanted any direct CBI inquiry into it. As per Assembly data, it was cleare that out of 70 cases, not a single chargesheet was submitted to High Court on July 31st. Tripura Pradesh Congress organized protest rallies demanding to return people’s money which they lost after investing with Chit Fund groups in Tripura and in each and every subdivisional headquarters Congress protested on Sep 21stâ€. The Rose Valley, which is 7 times more than Sarada has looted Tripura’s people miserably. Safety Commissioner Sailen Kumar Pathak has expressed satisfaction about the work done by NFR on railway tracks. On Sunday morning 10 AM, in trollees the Railway Team led by safety commissioner Sailen Kr Pathak had started journey from Agartala Railway station to Udaipur. A train also ahead of the trolley lead the Railway Team. After the inspection was fully done, Agartala-Udaipur route to see regular passenger journey. Depending on the report of CRS inspection the train will be set to run on the tracks. Tripura’s 2nd TET held on Sunday | AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): The Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) which held on Sunday after one year of the 1st TET was held in 2015, was the main focus of the B.Ed qualified unemployed youths in Tripura on Sunday. Many of the last year’s TET qualified have become overaged, but Tripura Govt. is yet provide any job offer to them. However, Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha in a press meet recently said that the overaged TET qualifiers will get job soon, but when they will get job, he didn’t mention. In the meantime, Govt. has conducted another TET Examination, for which rush of applications have been observed just for 1-5 & 6-8 standard Teachers’-Posts. Moreover, the persons who will finally get job after qualifying in TET will receive a fixed pay salary for the next 5 years., which come around Rs. 7.000/ for senior basic & Rs. 5000/ for primary teachers.In this situation, resentment has been brewed among the Dec’s TET qualifiers as 10 months of passing Tripura govt. failed to give any job to them. Out of 5 year’s of punishment with Fixed salary they could easily pass 1 year already.
