AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): The 23rd August issue is now the prime focus for various parties in Tripura including CPI-M, IPFT, TMC & BJP. All parties are now busy to blame each others for that violent incident on the heart of Capital City--------although apart from IPFT, no political party flags were visible at Agartala City on that day !

Still, either it’s BJP, or IPFT or TMC ------- all via press meets blamed CPI-M for this mayhem. However, going forward with major steps, CPI-M has blamed particularly TMC and partially BJP for that riot on that City. Political parties are now turning the 23rd August as a historical day. Following 23rd August, on 23rd Sep, TMC will organize a massive rally in Agartala to condemn over the incident.

Question arises, is this is much necessary to recall a bad day again and again? Is it not a way to re-active on the forgotten wounds?

Already BJP, TMC has sought CBI inquiry on the issue.

In a press meet held at Melarmath Party Office, CPI-M state secretary although congratulated the party for its winning over Simna-Tamakri, but he also agreed about IPFTs increasing popularity in ADC. Dhar also failed to hide his concern about INPT, TMCs probable aligning.

Bijan Dhar said,  “There are various rumors spreading against CPI-M by TMC, BJP, Congress, IPFT. The incident of 23rd August communal clash which hit Agartala City, was fully created by a;; anti- CPI-M parties as TMC, BJP, Congress. They created an anarchy in that condition---- by blaming CPI-M for this riot like situation,  whereas IPFT members started first the issues by attacking women, children of the City. IPFT leaders promised to deploy huge number of Volunteers in Agartala during IPFT’s rally and also they assured the police about a peaceful rally. However, police controlled the situation and many citizens also helped the police to recover the situation”.

BJP President Biplab Deb already held meeting with Agartala 23rd August tribal complainers on the next day & sought CBI inquiry against the issue. Deb also moving from hills to hills eyeing votes in BJP’s vote-banks.

Saying “Hills are Tripura’s asset”, Mukul Roy had declared Dibachandra Rankhol to be the Opposition Leader in Tripura. Mukul Roy also mentioned that without hills a state can not develop at all.

So it can be seen that the tribal the rush for vote banks is huge before the Assembly Election-2018. But Bijan Dhar claims that CPI-M will win over election as all the opposition parties have been broken down and thus their votes also have been shared by Voters.
