AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): Tripura’s CPI-M Govt failed to tackle even Malaria in hilly region which cause hundreds of deaths every year, now with arrival of Swine Flu in Northeast, Manik Govt is nowhere to face this epidemic if it hits Tripura. Reportedly on wednesday, an outbreak of swine flu in Moreh, a town along the Manipur-Myanmar border, has killed several pigs already. But if swine flu attacks Tripura suddenly it may kill hundreds at a glance as in rural Tripura / ADC areas health service exists just for namesake. The district administration at Manipur, has banned import of pork and piglets from across the border till the situation was fully under control. But North Tripura Border is still open without any checking via which in Damchara market every kinds of NE based items are selling. The condition of Tripura’s first referral hospital GB Hospital is also in deplorable shape. Gomati District, North Tripura health service has become pathetic--- without doctors, lack of infrastructures and poor health service. Although in 2015 February, flu massively attacked Tripura but Tripura govt. is not taking any precaution to the deadly disease.

In this situation, tension prevailing in Tripura,  as the swine flu has attacked on Northeast. But surprisingly, from Tripura Health Dept. no initiative is taken to prevent swine flu, although this deadly disease has hit the neighboring state.Question is that when Tripura’s health dept will start to function fully, and will be ready to go with challenges against any health related issue?

When across the state from plain to hills all areas, people will be provided with luxury of better health services.

Tripura’s maximum rural areas due to lacks doctors, medicine facilities suffer a lot.

In 2015, also Tripura was attacked by swine flu, when huge medicines from Andhra Pradesh had reached Tripura to prevent the death toll. But this year there is yet no concern about swine flu.

This disease in emerging from Mayanmar and border laned families are more victim of such diseases. However, Mayanmar border lined Mizos’ everyday-entrance to Tripura is acting like a threat to the swine flu prevention.
Swine influenza virus is common throughout pig populations worldwide. Transmission of the virus from pigs to humans is although, not common and Tripura was severely attacked by human flu.

Not only swine flu, but state is attacking by malaria, amenia and many other diseases.

Carelessness of the Doctors and Staff in the Hospital risks the life of patients many times. Just before a month 3 children’s death at Dharmanagar hospital created resentment among the common people.

Not only in rural areas, but in Capital City’s heart IGM, GB in all these hospitals similar incident happened. Expire dated saline to the patients at Udaipur Hospital, Dharmanagar hospital are very recent event.

However, if swine flu attacks State, Tripura Govt. may face much tough time to control the disease  as Rural areas’ health service is just pathetic.

Moreover pro-active action is need of the day, which is never taken by Tripura’s poor health service under Manik Sarkar’s administration.
