Housewife allegedly killed at In-Laws ho | AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Police’s negligence has been alleged once again in dealing with crime-against-women’s cases. A pregnant housewife Supriya Debnath was allegedly killed by her husband Dibakar Debnath and sister-in-law Anjali Debnath on Tuesday night, but even after 3 days, police have not taken any action against the accused. On Friday local people and the family members have blocked a road in Agartala, where the victim's mother was fainted while protesting. The couple was married before two years, but her in-laws family members continued tortures upon her since the very beginning with various issues including dowry. Today the teachers have gathered at Bishalgarh on that occasion, but till day their demand is only 'Regularization'. Many teachers of SSA including SSA-Association Secretary Bastab Debbarma became ill due to hunger strike for long 7 days left few of them with life time disease, but after 5 months of BJP-govt, the SSA teachers yet to be regularized.
