AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M has alleged that in last four months at least 113 crimes against women cases were reported, whereas many more are yet unrevealed / unofficial.

CPI-M has also called  a protest on August 9 with 9 demands. Among those points crime against women will be a major issue to protest. 

Noteworthy, in rape cases, 183 cases have been registered in 2017, in 2016 total 207 rapes and in 2015 rape cases numbers are 213.In molestation total 260 cases came out in the last year, whereas in dowry total 339 cases recorded in last year.Total 117 numbers of kidnapping cases were registered in various police station in last year.
