Sky rocketed Petrol price hits hapless c | AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): BJP’s so called ‘Acche Din’ turned ‘Bure Din’ ( worst days) for Tripura alongwith rest of the country. Today's Petrol price in Agartala (Tripura) is Rs. 74.28 per Litre after last change in Agartala petrol price was on August 16, 2018 and it was increased by +0.05 rupees. At Deelhi it is 77.24. Tripura which is already suffering due to fuel price hike since ugust 10, was imposed with the second time tax hike on Piped Natural Gas (PNG) and Compressed natural Gas (CNG). Earlier the CNG price was Rs. 41 per kg, whereas it's from now will be Rs. 44, thus 3 rupees above than the earlier. Now, in case o Piped Natural Gas (PNG) it was earlier Rs. 17.50 now it's Rs. 19. At the same time, CNG stations are less in number leading heavy rows of autos everyday in front of the CNG stations everyday. Demand has raised for increasing more numbers of CNG stations. In case of uses of PNG in Govt Quarter it has been hiked from Rs. 22 to Rs. 25. In coaching centres of Agartala 15,000-25,000 of admission fees are asked for TCS, TPS courses, but after the new govt came in power, suddenly all the ongoing recruitments were cancelled led heaby frustrations among the aspirants. On the onside due to various corruptions in TPSC in nexus with a particular coaching center it keeps the candidates in fear and on that time State Govt’s decision of cancellation of all ongoing recruitment process has triggered tension among a major section of unemployed youths especially those who appealed for TCS, TPS exams which costed their money, times age all. 506 TSR job aspirants left without offer | AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): Termination of all ongoing recruitment process turning heavy upon the BJP Govt as other states’ candidates are also hit by new BJP Govt’s cabinet decision. Confusions over Tripura’s job recruitment process turning critical day by day, since BJP govt has cancelled all the recruitment process. The various recruitments under Govt Depts in Tripura which were going very unsystematically since the previous CPI-M Govt’s time added by BJP Govt’s mad-announcement of cancellation of all existing recruitments. Such decision are now also erupting resentment among the candidates who passed interviews from other states. 506 job aspirants of TSR were selected in 2016, also verifications were done, but when everything was set the candidates were never served with offer letters. Around 60 outside candidates were selected from West Bengal who are frequently visiting the state to check the development, costing them heavily due to the high fare rates of the trains and flights. 2300 Kilo Ganja seized in Tripura : 'Zer | SONAMURA, Aug 17 (TIWN): With a record breaking ganja seizing, Sepahijala Police led by SP Kulwant Singh since Thursday have seized 2300 kg of ganja from Ananda Nagar area. Total 78 number of drums full of ganjas (cannabis) have been recovered hidden 5 feet beneath the ground at Sonamura led by SDPO Sudipta Deb and Sepahijala OC-Paritosh Das. While addressing media, SP said, in last four months total 2500 kilo of ganjas were seized by the District Police. Addressing media, Kulwant Singh said, "Since few days we were informed via secret sources of SDPO and OC about the hidden ganja stocks. Total for 10 hours the drive had been continued by Police and total 78 drums of dry cannabis were recovered. The time was lengthy as around 1 kani of area was covered by the illegal storage of those cannabis". "We have zero-tolerance against drugs and it doesn't matter at what amount an illegal storage have been kept. It may be 2300 gram or 2300 kg, but no criminal will be spared", SP said in a message for the mass. The SP further added, in last 4 months along with 25,000 kilo of ganja, 70,000 yaba tablet stocks, 24,000 phensedyls were seized. Whereas all the existing recruitment process have been cancelled but Judicial Service has not been yet, which has raised question, whether Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath who by profession has also been a lawyer what he found so sympathetic to relax the recruitment process under his Judicial Dept ? Many Ex-Congress activits (now BJP) advocates are undergoing those recruitment process however ! What surprises is that even though TPSC is known as 'autonomous body', but it is also silent whether job recruitments are cancelled or not. The last TCS/ TPS Exam for which students were preparing for two years, was under High Court observation as one hearing was going on, but that recruitment is also under threat, even though TPSC didn’t give any notification, but neither proceeding the recruitment process. Tripura reeling under jobless youthsâ | AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): As no political party could relieve the youths from jobless, industry-less, hopelessness situation exiting in Tripura since decades, now youths’ voice have remained silent. Since the CPI-M era, from High Court to Supreme Court ray of hopes ushered and youths anti-corruption wave was supported ideologically by the then opposition BJP. But after coming power, BJP’s Jumla-strike has further shocked, frustrated youths with massive job cuts, cancellation of existing job recruitments and most importantly Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s long motivational speeches on business, industry for which youths were never prepared. Due to various reasons industrialization never came in the state and as a result govt jobs have been valued here always.
