Thanking troops and volunteers, remembering martyrs as Mangal Pandey, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekar Azad, Khudiram Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Rishi Arobindo, Shyama Prasad Mukharjee and others, CM began his at the Assam Rifles Ground. At the very beginning of his speech, Biplab Deb said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visioned a Hira-model for Tripura and under the Central Govt we are working in that path. Tripura Governor unfurls National flag, | AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Governor Tathagata Roy on Wednesday marked the celebration of the Independence Day by offering garland and floral tribute to the freedom the freedom fighters at Gandhighat.Ahead of the Govt Programme in a tweet, Roy said, "Greetings to all twipple on Independence Day.
