AGARTALA, Aug 2 (TIWN): Congress President Birjit Sinha has demanded escort for his safety.

The Congress President has claimed that due to various rumours he is feeling life-threats. So, from the state govt, Sinha has raised demand of escorts for him.

A letter has been given to the DGP subjecting Congress Chief’s security issues.

“In social media fake information about me and Ex-CM Manik Sarkar and Congress President Birjit Sinha has been published saying both of us are connected in Kidney smuggling. But when security was demanded and action was sought police denied”, Birjit Sinha said.

Sinha is demanding escort since  the post election, even though he has lost this MLA membership. Congress said, so what Birjit Sinha is no more Congress MLA but he served for long as MLA and now he is Congress President. ‘Escort’ is needed for him for the security purpose.
