Treatment's Deprivation to 19 years old | AGARTALA, Dec 31 (TIWN): Tripura's biggest Govt hospital GB hospital witnessed a cruel scenario on Wednesday after a brain stroke patient who was brought from Kolkata's RN hospital was not given basic treatment there. The helpless family waited for hours before the GB hospital and the patient was kept inside the ambulance amid oxygen stock was going to finish there. Due to bed-shortage, the patient could not be attended and the hospital denied his admission, said the patient party while addressing media who came to the hospital before 3 hours and only 40 minutes of oxygen stock had remained. Legal experts believe that this incident is a deprivation to the fundamental rights that is "Right to Health". Supreme Court in a verdict on 18th December has said also that Govt must monitor the private hospital's billing matters and also should ensure quality health services in hospitals. 10323 Teachers' Protest falls on Day 25 | AGARTALA, Dec 31 (TIWN): No good news for the 10323 teachers ahead of New Year and the teachers sat on agitation have left on road as a part of indefinite period's protest started from December 7. Although, the protest falls on Day 25 but there is no call came from the State Govt yet to solve the teachers problems. There are various legal ways, the terminated teachers have already revealed before the media but State Govt or its Law Dept did not make a single comment over those legal changes. The 10323 teachers in protest sounded confident while asserting that they have various points which can legally help the Govt to restore the teachers jobs or to give new jobs to the teachers. 10323 Teachers request Ruling, Oppositio | AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Agitating 10323 Teachers continue to push the BJP led State Govt and as well as the opposition parties to discuss about error of interpretation of the 127 of the original judgement iand said, if the present Govt wants, it can rectify the mistakes which were done by the previous Govt's legal experts. The teachers placed their point that 127 para said that the jobs which were challenged on the basis of revised employment policy those are dismissed, but previously those whose jobs were given earlier, their jobs are not terminated. "Our question is, can't the Govt review its decision since 2014's Dipak Gupta's judgement ? Now you have given termination letter as per para 127 but no termination letter was given to us", asked the 10323 teachers.
