AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Although the period of mass agitation is 15 days as per State Govt’s rule, yet the agitating 10323 teachers are continuing with their protest for 21 days demanding a permanent solution to their jobs and to provide government jobs to one of the family members of the teachers who have died through die-in-harness.

The government has not shown any response till today to the teachers who have been protesting under the winter sky for 21 long days.

Aiming at this, the common people of the state came forward to help them and a section of the well-wishers of the society distributed Rice, pulses, and other food items to them.

 Moreover, the family members of the 10323 sacked teachers who died have joined the protest today and appealed to the government for specific management of their employment.

 It remains to be seen what kind of action will the Govt. take for teachers of the agitating 10323 Joint Movement Committee.
