Congress, BJP clash in Kalishahar on Far | AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): Congress, BJP met in clash at Kailashahar centering Farmers Strike. Police controlled the situation and arrested the picketers later but stone pelting, brick pelting were reported. Even Minister Ratan Lal was seen sitting on 3rd row. BJP heavyweights from Sudip Barman, Aashis Saha, Ram Prasad Pal all avoided Biplab's programme. In that admission, 3 OBC seats for RIMS, Imphal were reserved and 10 seats for EWC in the AGMC. In our state there is no provision such reservations except SC, ST and in 2019 only amendment was done of the constitution. But no law was passed in the State Assembly of Tripura. Thus, based on the petition filed by us, HC Chief Justice Akil Kureshi has stayed the admission process today. On 'World AIDS Day', declining the increasing AIDS Patients numbers data, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that actually AIDS patients numbers were already high in Left Govt's time but former Health Minister Badal Choudhury had suppressed the data. "Suppression can not solve the problems", said Ratanlal Nath. Minister Ratanlal Nath also accused the former Left Govt for suppressing numbers of sex workers in Tripura saying, Tripura has more than 4,000 sex workers but Badal Choudhury led Health Dept kept the data hidden. Housewife was Gangraped in South Tripura | SABROOM (South Tripura), Dec 2 (TIWN): A housewife was gangraped in South Tripura District's Sabroom subdivision by ruling BJP Party sheltered miscreants. This incident took place at Sabroom's Singibil area, where the victim went to join a function and while returning home, she was gangraped by 2 miscreants. Talking to media, the victim housewife said, "I went there to attend an invitation and my mother-in-law also visited with me. I got engaged in works and my son already slept. I requested my mother-in-law to take my son along her to home. My mother-in-law is also old. So I asked her to go to home. As it was late night I told the son of Ratan Debnath to help me to go home. He is like a nephew in relation and I did not feel any danger from him. But in the middle of the road to he along another man forcefully took me in a home where nobody was present. I shouted but nobody listened as the home was empty. I was gangraped by total 2 men there". The rape accused persons names are : 1) Prasenjit Debnath and Madhusudhan Debnath. The victim further added, "They threatened me not to tell anyone about the incident and I also stayed silent about that. This incident happened on Saturday. Out of threat, although, I did not tell anyone about this incident but don't know how people know about it. Then I told my mother-in-law about the incident and we decided to lodge case".
