10323 Teachers' Protest falls on Day 20 | AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): 10323 teachers' protest for indefinite period of time has fallen on Day 20 amid no response has been given by State Govt yet in concern of the teachers' situations. This protest which had started from December 7 has been continuously going on without a single day's gaps. Many teachers during the protest had fallen sick but so far no call was given by the State Govt to hold any discussion. Terminated 10323 teachers have continued their protests on Day 19 amid extreme cold temperature and on Christmas day also there is no call given by the BJP led State Govt for any discussion. Even regional party leaders like Ranjit Debbarma also has forwarded his supported, requested the Govt of Tripura to help the 10323 teachers. Police's Lathicharge in CPI-M's Students | BELONIA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Police's lathicharge was reported in CPI-M's student wing protest at Belonia, South Tripura on Thursday. The rally was led by CPI-M Deputy Opposition leader Badal Choudhury and other top leaders. As per the footage, the rally was massive as huge numbers of students, youths, women had joined it. At a spot, police stopped the agitators asking them not to go further but the CPI-M workers were proceeding peacefully.
