AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): Resentments fueled high among BJP's MLAs, block development authority as Tripura Govt led by CM Biplab Deb is not yet clearing funds under various projects. At the same time, tendency of giving profits to outsider contractors has erupted massive resentments. Recently, in a contractors meet with CM Biplab Deb was requested by contractors in open stage not to deprive the own state's contractors. The issue was raised by BJP MLA Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl in a rally at Majlishpur on December 27 as Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s departments are involved allegedly massive corruptions including a tender corruption, which was exposed by his own party MLA Sudip Braman in the Assembly in the month of February. The major scam was to handover projects without tender.

Allegedly, Delhi based corrupt officials and even few politically power top leaders are accused in nexus of the recently exposed national highway tender scam and also dealt for a cancer medicine purchasing, was again another scam.

It was said in the allegation brought in the State Assembly against CM Biplab Deb....."Whereas from 2015-16, 2016-17,2017-18 FYs continuously we were conducting the national highway construction, maintenance works by State PWD, but what suddenly in 2018-19 after BJP Govt in an urgent mode, handed over the national highway construction project to outside company that is NHIDCL without tender which has costed massive revenue incomes. Also that decision was not taken in Cabinet and without tender handing over projects is obviously a serious crime".

MLA Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl questioned, "Today funds are not cleared even after Central Govt sanctioned funds. FFC projects' funds were allocated by Central Govt. If by March the funds are not utilized then Delhi will not fund us further. Then, how can we develop Tripura ? Who will come to work with BJP ? More than 1,000 crores of projects were invested for double-lane works, but all via outsider contractors. Crores of revenue losses due to that happened but State Govt has no concern. Today blocks are deprived of funds. So, how will the state progress ?"
