AGARTALA, Dec 31 (TIWN): No good news for the 10323 teachers ahead of New Year and the teachers sat on agitation have left on road as a part of indefinite period's protest started from December 7. Although, the protest falls on Day 25 but there is no call came from the State Govt yet to solve the teachers problems. There are various legal ways, the terminated teachers have already revealed before the media but State Govt or its Law Dept did not make a single comment over those legal changes. The 10323 teachers in protest sounded confident while asserting that they have various points which can legally help the Govt to restore the teachers jobs or to give new jobs to the teachers. They requested the State Govt to hold discussion with them and solve their problems. Talking to media, teachers said that Tripura Govt recently filed a petition requesting the Supreme Court to allow the Govt to recruit the teachers in various posts without interview and the verdict gave a clear signal about appointing teachers in Group-C and Group-D posts.

Apart from this, if go through the previous verdicts based on which the Govt had terminated the teachers, it is shown that the teachers were never terminated in reality but a wrong interpretation of the verdict forced the teachers terminations.

Many petitioners also withdrawn their petitions which also saved many teachers jobs.

"After new Govt formation also, the Education Minister kept on saying that Govt will fulfill its Vision Document's promise and his promises are video recorded. Then, CM also promised the same, but now it's totally upto the CM whether he is interested to solve our problems or not", said JMC.
