Railway service frequency gets boost bef | AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): The much awaited DEMU train service which will kick off before Durga puja for the first time in Northeast state Tripura has arrived in Agartala Railway Station for trail run.Also the long-pending demand of South Tripura people that is Belonia-Sabroom connectivity, Belonia-Sabroom Railway connectivity also to be eased by this month. These trains likely to increase the frequency of trains by easing movements of regular passengers. It was promised by the Chief Minister of the state that 4 new trains to be introduced before Durga Puja, today trial Train arrived in Agartala Railway Station, which drew gathering of public in the Railway Station and accordingly trains’ connectivity to get major boost.Tripura is having now at least 5 Express trains and various local trains, although the Broad-Gauge connection was given just since 2016. 10323 teachers issue turns sensitive in | AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): The 10323 teachers are undergoing massive tension as ad-hoc termination date is knocking the door. Recently the 10323 ad-hoc teachers had filed a case in the High Court in plea of restoration of their jobs with various legal points. It was said that in the whole legal procedure of 10323 teachers case, the teachers were never made a party to place their views. The case was heard on September 2nd but no final verdict was given and the next data has been given on 30th September, 2019. An advocate in the High Court said that the there is another similar case in High Court and both cases will be heard on same date. He also informed that the case at first was filed in the Supreme Court but Supreme Court dismissed the plea and thus the teachers have moved for a fresh appeal in the High Court. Pre-Poll tension begins in Tripura, one | AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): 19 days ahead of Tripura By-Election in Badharghat constituency, tension generated after common men blocked road at Aralia after a locally respected person named Bipad Bandhu Rishidas was severely beaten by miscreants on yesterday night and also threatened him to be killed. Local people came in protest as except political identity Rishidas also is well-reputed person. The locals blocked road, burnt tires in agitation demanding arrest of the culprits behind this incident. CPI-M has directly blamed BJP for the attack. Expressing extreme disgust over 10323 teachers attitudes against the State Govt, CM revealed that the 10323 teachers have threatened him to meet them on 14th August or they would go for massive protest. Biplab Deb said, even a mother will not feed milk to her baby if the baby doesn’t ask it properly.
