AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): On the occasion of Teachers Day although Education Minister Ratanlal Nath promised to stand beside teachers but the financial situation of Tripura Teachers are not satisfactory. According to Assembly data given by Finance Minister Jishnu Deb Barman, the central govt employees though getting 12% DA but Tripura teachers not getting any DA right now. The last DA hike was reported on 2017, January 2nd under the Left Govt. The Minister directly said that due to financial tight situation of the State Govt right now DA is not possible. He also said, it depends on the Central Govt for the further DA. According to Vision Document’s promise the Govt is acting at the opposite direction specially to the employees section, alleged the Govt employees. So, there is also no special gift for the teachers and other govt employees ahead of Durga puja.

BJP before election also promised to double the employees salaries, released various advertisement and BJP National President Amit Shah promised to give 7th Pay Commission from March 2018 whereas the effect was said from 2016, but only a scale of 7th Pay Commission has been claimed as given with the effect of 2018, October.

With all these deprivation and drop of Govt jobs’ luxury resentments have been massively erupted among state govt employees. So far no hope on the Central Govt also as the country is reeling under heavy economic crisis situation with massive drop in GDP.
