Today in such a successful drive excise dept has seized a vehicle full of liquor stocks, worthing over lakhs. Excise dept official said, via secret sources they were informed that a vehicle carrying huge numbers of illegal stocks travelling towards Mohanpur. Accordingly 3 points were selected for checking and catching the accuse. One was at the Nehru Park line traffic point and next two points were towards Salbagan. In the first point, the officials successfully seized the vehicle but the driver managed to escape along with his assistant. However, the vehicle has been seized with various types of liquors. The murder case was handedover to CBI after the BJP-IPFT formed a Govt in Tripura and CBI booked around 300 IPFT activists including one MLA, but no development in the investigation yet, which has frustrated the journalists. Various advertisements of BJP claimed on that time if a person is getting salary of 20,000 s/he will get 40,000 from March, 2018. Those who are getting 50,000 will get 1 lakhs but the Govt has ended by merely hiking 0.32 factor from October, 2018 effect.
