The incident took place near Tepnnia Scholl under Radhskishorepur Police Station. Father Arjun Debnath(55) was strangulated by his son Rakesh Debnath (23) last night in a fit of temper. TIWN investigating team has come to know from sources that the ongoing Forged International Passport racket is very active in DM Gomati's Office complex since 2012. During investigation, it is revealed that the racket has been dealing with many Bangladeshi citizens in Forged Passports in exchange of huge amount of money ranging from Rs 70000/- to Rs 90000/- per forged passport. ONGC Executive Director Deepak Bakshi ar | AGARTALA, February 1 (TIWN Exclusive): Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) today conducting nitrogen purging in its 10 Km pipeline to charge it with gas connecting to Monarchak Power Plant from Sonamura Khedabari. The gas will be charged in the pipeline by midnight 12:00 AM today, said ONGC Asset Manager V P Mahawar to TIWN. The ONGC Executive Director Deepak Bakshi along with his delegation team today arrived here in the state and visited the Sonamura Khedabari site to inspect the gas charge to the pipeline. Tripura ONGC Asset Manager V P Mahawar remained present at the site. Tripura Feni bridge construction work: D | AGARTALA, February 1 (TIWN): The Direct Project Report (DPR) of the construction work of the four lane bridge over the River Feni in Tripura that would connect the state's South district with Chittagong division in Bangladesh is now waiting for the clearance from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. “We have our team ready to be sent to Bangladesh site for the field survey but now after the center gives the clearance of the team visit we will make the DPR ready within one or two monthsâ€, said PWD Engineer in Chief Sunil Bhowmik.Talking to the reporters here at the civil secretariat the PWD Engineer in Chief Sunil Bhowmik said that the department has listed a name of at least 10 to 12 members who will be sent to the Bangladesh site for the field survey for the construction of the double lane bridge over River Feni. Under Government of India’s Rajiv Gandhi Awas Yojna flagship programme Amarpur, Sabroom, Khowai and Kumarghat are the places concerned. The project is primarily for the people living in the slum areas. Proposal was sent to Government of India (GoI) for Kailasahar too but only four cities have been approved. Besides, 978 families will get developed sanitation facilities. Former Unakoti DM Abhishek Chandra's che | KAILASHAHAR, February 1 (TIWN Exclusive): In the name of the construction of Tirupati Temple under the supervision of Sarengi Math the then Unakoti DM Abhishek Chandra skillfully succeeded to acquire 17 Kani of agricultural land from the farmers. The area is located in Vilaspur village near Manu river around 13km away from Kailashahar town. Abhishek Chandra is alleged to have convinced the farmers that the temple of Tirupati will be constructed along with Saraswati Temple, Hospital, Guest House and a primary school under Sarengi Math. Accordingly the Sankaracharya of Sarengi Math Gouri Sanakarachrya laid the foundation stone of this mega project on 7th December 2013. During the foundation laying programme Gouri Sankaracharya declared that by 2015 the construction of this project will be completed.
