AGARTALA, February 2 (TIWN): Soon after being assigned to the post of TPCC PRESIDENT Birjit Sinha declared that he will make his sincere efforts to bring back all those leaders who left the Congress party during the last few years. And all on a sudden a section of once rebel leaders have started to negotiate with the TPCC leaders to return to the main stream.

Only a few days before former Minister cum senior tribal leader Rati Mohan Jamtia rejoined Congress along with his 500 followers.

And on Sunday Tripura Trinamool Congress Chairman Ratan Chskraborty was seen to go to meet newly appointed Congress Working President Pradyut Kishore Debbarman in his house.

The news at once attracted attention of s section of a media. However, neither TMC nor TPCC has confirmed the news . 

           A senior member of TPCC ( unwilling to reveal his name) told TIWN," Several TMC, INPT, IPFT and a section of leaders belonging to parties are in touch with us. At this moment it will be unfair to name them but with in a few months time you will find a regrouped and united Congress ." 

           But today's meeting between TMC Chairman Ratan Chakraborty and Congress Working President Pradyut Kishore Debbarman sparked a new twist in state politics.

According to political analysts say that TMC leaders are now divided among them and Surajit Datta and Ratan Chakraborty too are in hunt to join Congress provided that they are given  due honour.
