UDAIPUR, February 2 (TIWN): In another incident of social degradation a son killed his father by star gating him at dead of night on Sunday. The incident took place near Tepnnia Scholl under Radhskishorepur Police Station. Father Arjun Debnath(55) was strangulated by his son Rakesh Debnath (23) last night in a fit of temper. However, police was not informed till late night.

At around mid night Arjun's body was taken to Gomati District Hospital and at once the hospital authorities smelt a rat. Meanwhile this morning police got the information and at once Investigating Officer Bidya Debbarma rushed to the victim's residence. Police found a kathi lying on the floor.

However, is it suspected that Rakesh killed his father strangulating him. Accordingly the wife of Arjun Debnath, Smt Jharna Debnath lodged a case in the R K Pur Police station against her son Rakesh.
