Conf | AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): Whereas awarenesses are spreading among the common people not to take any inked / soiled notes of Rs. 2000 and Rs. 500 but the rules are yet on the air without any proper notification. One the one side, Banks are also rejecting scribbled notes of Rs. 2000 but similar notes are transacting from ATMs. But such crucial issues must be cleared via proper notifications. With customers allegations, TIWN has scrutinized a Rs. 2000's note numbered 5BK 655699 which was rejected by BSNL office on Wednesday, when the customer went to pay the monthly bill. The problem was the person took the money not from ATM but with a bundle of notes in business purpose before few days and there is chance of returning the money. Nothing was wrong with the note except a pen-written "100" on it. But BSNL Official sitting in the cash counter said, "This note is not valid. We have circulation not to except such notes".
