AMARPUR / AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): Amid much hypes of development under left front govt, there is no relief from water crisis at Amarpur located various villages.
Allegation came from Munda Colony under Thakchara Panchayat where due to lack of water supplies dirty waters are the only options for the villagers resulting various diseases and mainly affecting the children there.
For around 25 families one "chara" stream is only the option leading mass anger among the villagers.
Even though a tank has been set at there but as per the Panchayat atleast 100 rupees is needed to pay per month to buy water from there, whereas all the villagers are very poor at Munda Colony.
The locals have demanded water supplies for them as fast as possible.
