Reckless driving leads serious accident | AGARTALA / BISHALGARH, Aug 10 (TIWN): Atleast 40 persons injured in an accident at Bishalgarh-Boxonagar was on Thursday when a commando and a bolero hit with each other, left 17 persons seriously injured and 3 in critical condition at GB Hospital. A 26 years male patient at GB has yet left unknown, whereas others are Susmita Tanti (19), Dipankar Banerjee (24), Jubiet Ahmed (16), Bipul Das (43), Dulal Banik (44), Jhantu Das (20), Kabir Hossain (22), Jalal Mia (39), Nihara Begum (50), Sumi Aktar (21), Unknown (52), Prasenjit Debbarma (22), Nimai Das (35), Anima Pal (21), Mousam Kumar (17). More 13 people yet admitted at Bishalgarh Hospital and these 17 persons have been admitted at GB hospital. Three person among the 17 are left serious under treatment in GB hospital; however no death was reported so far. In the morning both of the vehicles were coming from the opposite directions when they hit with each-other.Talking to the eye-witnesses at there, they said both of the vehicles were in reckless mood that led the serious accident.The incident took place under Boxonagar's Patarbari area.In another separate incident total 13 persons were injured at Udaipur on Thursday. | 10-Aug-2017 |

'Udbastu' tragedy : De-sheltered Bengali | AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): The 'Udbastu' (refugee) families who had to escape from the ADC areas after their family members were killed, kidnapped by militants, till day maximum of them are residing either in relative's houses or in rents across Agartala, Bishalgarh.
