AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): ABVP has protested on Monday against the delay in marksheet publication of 6th semester.
Whereas Colleges are saying that the marksheets have been submitted, University has strongly denied it.
However the contradictory two Colleges have been identified as MBB and BBMC.
In the last month the VC of Tripura University calling a press conference, University Vice Chancellor told media that atleast 4 Colleges are there in Tripura yet to release marks on various subjects; one College has not submitted even its practical marks but strange situation is being faced when a govt college professor found missing from house, without any information after taking 2 bundles of honours copies.
There are various other obstacles that are delaying the results of the session.
"Among all the semesters, 6th semester's result is the most crucial one that we are trying to publish first. The main hurdle is, there are 40,000 students including all the semesters, whereas we need 425 professors for copy-checking, but unfortunately we have only 50 to 60 professors to check the copies", said VC Anjan Kumar Ghosh to media.
"The 50 to 60 professors are moving fast towards the goal and 70 % work with result is done, but the problem is happening with the Colleges those are holding the marks", said Ghosh.
In this regard Tripura University is in continuous talks both with the Higher Education Dept as well as Principals of those Colleges.
