AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): With three points of demands, blind students have met the Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Sarkar on Monday.
Their demands were 1) B.Ed training, 2) Computer training, 3) Job.
Atleast 15 students have been passed out with graduation degrees from Swami Vivekananda College of Mohonpur and met the CM today with their demands.
Talking to TIWN the blind students said, "We earlier urged the CM to help us to complete the degree. However, on that time Chief Minister arranged our admission at Swami Vivekananda College of Mohonpur. Not only this, state Govt had also gave us accommodation with hostel. Now we are passed out. So we have demanded these three demands for our better future. Hopefully the state govt will look after our demands".
