AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): Atleast two persons were injured by miscreants at Agartala on Monday.

Two drunkards entered their house  located Subash Nagar's Medda Chowmuhani when nobody was present in the house and getting the housewifeItikana Deb alone they asked for money from her.

When she refused, they attempted to kill her and injured her with sharp weapon. Her daughter just had returned from school and saw her mother was attacked, but when she rushed to save her she was also injured.

Mother Itikana Deb and daughter Mampi Deb have been injured by the miscreants; however they saved by the local people.

In the broad day light such an incident has created panic among the locals.  

One  culprit Nitu Ghosh has been caught by locals and handed him to police.
