AGARTALA, Sept 25 (TIWN): Praising NSS for their initiative in emergency situations, Tripura Sports Minister Sahid Choudhury in every points explains how through CPI-M Govt’s support state is undergoing “Changes” in every sectors including Sports. In a programme organized by NSS on the occasion of NSS Day held at RabindraBhawan on Saturday, Sahid Choudhury felicitated DipaKarmamakar, young footballer Lakshmita Reang. But he had no time for to wish a goodluck to Tripura Women Football Team players, who bring & brought up from skeleton like Sports Structure for the 3rd time are going to participate in National-mate SM Cup. Due to lack of guidance & experience the team 2 times defeated at national level in 2015 & this time also they are going like orphans, although before leaving they said that they are hopeful for this tournament. Sahid Choudhury often claims that by scouting Tripura Govt is hunting for sports talents &Dipa is also a result of such a school-wide scouting done by Tripura Govt.
Nodoubt once the Fooball Team wins some position at National Level, Tripura Sports Minister will welcome them with garlands & CPI-M flag will wave at Agartala Airport.

Same he did with Tripura Gymnast star Dipa Karmakar. 

Tripura Govt didn’t give her any recognition unless she qualified for Rio & nationwide scrimmage for Dipa started.

However, Tripura Cricket Association(TCS) is now owner of crores, whether not a single player from TCS could secure a position at National level.

Although Manik Sarkar led CPI-M leaders claims that due to Govt support Tripura’s sports stars are now achieving awards outside the state, but in reality Tripuraplayers have achieved those awards with their own will power. Dipa Karmakar is not exceptional.

Tripura gymnast-world has nothing except few skeletons of old equipment, still Tripura achieved 3 Arjun awards in gymnastic, one Khel Ratna.

Apart from Gymnast, in handball and in Yoga Tripura has done pretty well. From swimming to Marshal Art and sports star like Pradip Malakar and Jyoti Shankar had brought awards in aesthetics.

In for all the events, state govt. has not invested a penny also.

Tripura CM has failed to bring any revolution in any field, whether it is Sports or may be Industry.
