AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): Calling Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar an anti-nationalist, Trinamool Congress via a press meet said that Trinamool will burn Manik Sarkar’s effigy on Sunday, who is anti-nationalist, anti-constitutional, highly egoistic who knows no bound of Language. In a press meet held at TMC Bhawan, MLA Sudip Roy Barman said, “In 2008 when Prime Minister Manmohon Singh's returned India after seeking support from IAEA Countries, that time China created much disruptions. During that time China claimed that their Indian Friends will ensure about India’s UNSUCESSFUL nuclear deal. Immediately CPI-M raised protests to help China and took off their support from UPA Govt for Nuclear deal. In Similar fashion to make sure that India’s name should not be in Nuclear Suppliers Group(NSG) , that time China, Communists in India raised same voice due to which till day India couldn’t become part of Nuclear Supply Group (NSG), said Barman. Sudip also said, the road which started from Southwest China via Pakistan occupied Kashmir & Baluchistan to Karachi was very harmful decision, but CPI-M didn’t raise voice on that time against China.
In Connect Northeast Summit Manik Sarkar delivered a speech which is anti-constitutional. CM cannot utter anti-national speeches hitting Indian Govt like this, said Barman.
Arunachal, Leh & Ladak areas are now trying to occupy by China, but CPI-M is again remained silent in this issue.
“India is doing “DADAGIRI” over neighboring countries…”, such a comment was really hurting for any Indian, said Barman. However, he added, “May be due to slip of tongue it came out of his mouth, but when TMC raised the issue the highly Egoistic CM was strict to his comment. He said, “I am strict to my deliverance of yesterday”, said Barman.
He mentioned, “In the 3rd NE Summit in a calculative way to led down the pride of India, before foreign representatives, industrialists Manik Sarkar said so”.
“CM hurt India’s pride in a sensitive time when the country is suffering from J&K issue, when our 18 soldiers died”, said Barman.
“The day he took oath as Chief Minister he promised to keep country’s glory, to keep his promise to nation to be faithful to constitution, but he couldn’t. TMC strongly condemned such attitude of a Chief Minister, & he must take back his words”, said Barman.
TMC giving examples said since 1921 CPI-M was betraying the country from Quit India movement to supporting Muslim league Communist were anti-patriotic. CPI-M also called Netaji’s fan as a Dog’s slave.
“CPI-M is till day eying for Muslim Vote-banks”, said Barman.
However, protesting against Chief Minister’s anti-nationalist comment TMCP will hold a protest rally & burn CM’s effigy.
