However, according to report, the new AC bus procured by TRTC for the route hardly gave service twice to Guwahati after its inauguration and since then the service was stopped. The bus lacks journey facilities as AC was fitted in normal bus. The passengers need comfortable bus seat while travelling long journey but it is seen that the seat arrangement in the bus is unscientific and passengers did not find any comfort. For this the passengers are not willing to travel by the bus. As a result, passengers have to travel by double fare by private buses and other vehicles. Only Rs.10,000 is the benchmark for the | AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): When only Rs 10,000 is set as the benchmark per candidate for the election expense it is seen that the political parties are spending lakhs of money to organise a single election campaign, now question arises from where is the parties like CPI-M is getting such huge money to organise such lavish campaigns in the state ? Talking to TIWN correspondent Election commissioner G.K.Rao said that only an amount of Rs 10, 000 is allowed per candidate but the party campaigns shows that lakhs of rupees are spent for organizing such huge campaigns. On the one hand Chief Minister Manik Sarkar claimed that the Left Front is a poor people government then from where is Manik’s government getting such bag full of money to organize such campaigns? Only to brainwash the mind of people ahead of election and woo the people for votes in favour of left front, Manik Sarkar himself is attending rallies to woo the voters. | 30-Nov-2015 |
Manik doesn’t allow dynamic Minis | AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): Doesn’t matter how much Manik Sarkar is screaming at his election-rallies about the “rapid progress of Tripura in comparison to any other states of India, but his own colleague Minister Badal Chowdhury while talking to TIWN about the work of NH-44 repeatedly said, “No-way it can be denied that NH-44 is in bad-shape which is bringing only miseries to common peopleâ€. Talking to Choudhury on Sunday evening, Minister said the NH-44 is in pathetic state not only at Churaibari road but it includes the capital city too, whether in comparison, the road towards South Tripura is in better shape. However it’s to be mentioned here that whether Manik Govt's priorities in scam and image building exercise, few dynamic Ministers are still there who likes to discuss the real facts and figures, which are occurring in state. May be that is the reason that Sarkar is not allowing good Ministers like Badal for doing their works and snubbing them in party’s top most position. To avoid inner party competition, Tripura's most dynamic Industry & Commerce Minister Jiten Chowdhury was pushed out from the State, Manik's next plan is to kick out Badal Chowdhury from Tripura Cabinet after 2018 election. NH-44 is in such bad shape due to Manik's control over all depts including PWD. How far few Ministers want real development, but works are being done as all top officials are remotely controlled by CM. As a result development has become an uphill task in Manik’s era as Chief Minister always scared to give independent hand in running in Govt Departments. | 29-Nov-2015 |

In Tripura, even though Cong and CPI-M are considered as traditional competitors, however BJP is increasing its vote share since 2 years in spite of poor organizational strength and dynamic local leaderships. As per Political analysts, facts can’t be denied that BJP has a long way to go in the political map of Tripura to match over 2 decades old CPI-M's game plans. Tripura State BJP President Sudhindra Dasgupta while talking to TIWN on Saturday evening said that BJP candidates, party members all are working very hard for the sake to solidify party's organizational strength and BJP is hopeful that vote-banks will surely rise than the previous years. “Day by day Tripura administration being marred by rampant corruptions under the reign of Manik Govt. also due to CM's handpicked corrupted officials and moral degradations, whole State Govt is involved in corruption from Block to District levels â€, claimed State BJP Chief. | 28-Nov-2015 |

Today most of the works are dependent over internet service, whether it banking or for education purpose everywhere and every time inter is required.Although virtual connectivity has become increasingly important today with the emergence of new communication avenues, a good and reliable transport network also remains vital. There is a very strong positive correlation between a state's economic development and the quality of its road network. With the bad connectivity of roads with the other States causes great loss to the State’s economy and also creates trouble for the public. The poor internet service in the State also harms the banking service, from teens to senior citizen all had to wait for long hours in a queue as because the bank does not have any internet link.Elsewhere, when the people are switching on to 4G, the so called Golden Era of Tripura is still struggling with poor internet service, and Manik claims that Tripura is developing faster than any other State. | 28-Nov-2015 |

But the main goal of govt. was pocketing the central funds, and exactly from that time NH-44 started to become worse and worse. According to the sources The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways had given an approval of Rs. 15 crore for the maintenance and the development of the NH-44, connecting Churaibari with Sabroom via Agartala. Then to de-centralize the issue and to grab the money, CM Manik Sarkar turned the issue by demanding another National Highway from Modi-govt. and for the 4 lane work of NH-44 but since then the issue of the main NH-44 has been fully sidelined by the state govt. | 28-Nov-2015 |
