UDAIPUR, Nov 28 (TIWN): The cross-border four nation car trial run through Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal (BBIN) was given a grand felicitation by DM gomati Sonal Goel at Udaipur Rajashri Kalakshetra on Saturday.
The rally was successfully flagged off from Agartala by CS Yash pal Singh on Saturday morning which launched its run from Bhuwaneshwar on 15 November. The rally entered Agartala on Friday late night and the state administration gave a warm welcome to the BBIN representatives.
To highlight the sub-regional connectivity and the scope and opportunities for greater people-to-people contact and trade, a BBIN Friendship Motor Rally launched its run on Nov 15. It was decided by the Transport Ministers of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal. This car rally will not only highlight advantages of connectivity in the region, but also help and demonstrate the practical framework of BBIN Agreement to facilitate cross border movement of vehicles.
The rally is organised to rejuvenate the culture of the four nations and to hold the beauty of culture across the border. The representatives of the car rally said that it is one the best measure to revive culture of the four nations.
DM Sonal Goel felicitated the rally at Udaipur and launched the run for Bangladesh from Udaipur.
