The family alleged, despite the order of the health department, the Asha workers did not communicate with the pregnant mother, Banati Debbarma during her pregnancy period, as a result, she did not receive the necessary advice and medications. However, the health department of our state has hired Asha staff to do service work only in rural or remote areas, especially for pregnant mothers. Tripura Vaccination Corruption : Central | AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): A Central Govt employee named Sukhdeb Acharjee, who is posted in Tripura University has been attacked by two Shibnagar Modern Club members after he raised voice against "Favourism" by the Club members during the vaccination drive. After the incident,  Sukhdeb Acharjee said, "I went to the Shibnagar Modern club at around 12 O'Clock and saw that the centre is almost empty. I tried to take my vaccine dose but the people who are sitting there told me that vaccine is allowed only for above 45 years of age. I just sat there for some time as a call came in my mobile. At that time, a boy below 30 years old came to get a vaccine. He was brought by his father who was talking to a Club member. I asked the boy regarding his age, but in reply he responded with a smile saying - All are manipulated. Then I talked to the people who are giving vaccines, which erupted into an argument and after that a man came out and he beat me up with a pen first and then another man had hit me with a helmet. I contacted my one brother and told the Traffic police about this incident. Everyone suggested that I call the media and that's why I have called the media. The terminated teachers alleged that they did not get any termination letter by person from the Education Dept yet. With 98 teachers' deaths, 98 families have been devastated financially. In another unfortunate incident one more terminated teacher Sukhadeb Dey (47) has died of Heart Attack. The Joint Movement Committee  of 10323 has condoled his death. For the last 5 years we are unemployed but there is no recruitment in these posts after 2016. In this pandemic situation, various hospitals, PHC are undergoing severe crises of ANM, MPW. "We thought, the State Govt will recruit us soon but it is 2021 already but no recruitment was held. When the state is suffering from Covid situation and hilly areas are targeted by malaria, there is no initiative taken by the State Govt to recruit us", said the unemployed of ANM and MPW. "We are trained, educated but please recruit us. Recruit us without honorium but please recruit us and after Covid pandemic, the Govt can give us posts. We can't sit in home amid such pandemic situation. Let us work for the people", said ANM, MPW passed out youths. "Huge numbers of Health workers are going in retirement every year and there are huge vacancies....", the unemployed youths added.
