CM Biplab Deb appreciates South Tripura | AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): On being recorded with a low positivity rate, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has appreciated the people of South Tripura District for low positivity rate there and said, "I think, this rate will be carried out by the people of South Dist successfully". Total 243 cases are on record during the second wave of Covid in South Tripura. Two areas which were randomly checked by the Chief Minister was found below 1%. The statement came when Biplab Deb was visiting South Tripura District and Gomati Tripura District today. District magistrate Sailesh Yadav also accompanied the Chief Minister during his visit. New ICU beds also have been installed in South Dist Hospitals.
