In Tripura the positivity rate has gone to 7.62 with 5 deaths in the last 24 hours. In Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) curfew has been continuing on Day-2. The Curfew started on May 17 and to end on May 26. Yesterday in GB hospital, loads of patients were reported in the Trauma Centre and serious patients were given priority one by one as per the need but one of the patient parties lost patience and demanded that his family member must get first treatment. Then the patient party started a chaos in front of the Trauma Centre and when Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Arup Das himself asked the patient party to leave the sensitive place where serious patients are admitted, then the patient's family member got furious. Then Dr Arup Das pushed the man to go outside but the patient's family member immediately turned violent on the Doctor asking him repeatedly to treat his patient first. The use of the "load" word clearly indicates that there are shortages of medical staffs in the biggest State Govt Hospital also. At national level also there are shortages of Doctors and a survey had revealed that 87 patients are loaded on a single Doctor per day at an average in this 136 crores populated country.
