Tripura High Court Issued Notice to Stat | AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): High Court has issued a notice to Govt of Tripura over 10323 teachers' recruitment in Group-D and Group-C posts in case no-WPC C17/2021. After the hearing, on behalf of petitioners, 10323 JMC member Bijoy Krishna Saha said, "It has been a long time that we are requesting the Tripura Govt to recruit us directly in Group-C and Group-D posts as Supreme Court used the word solace for our job recruitments. Lots of violators were detected from various spots of Agartala city tonight and through the night till early morning restriction will remain imposed. 'National emergency-like situation' : SC | AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): Supreme Court on Thursday took the suo moto cognisance of the several High Court hearings underway regarding Covid-19 preparedness across the country. The Court also issued a notice to the Centre on the supply of Covid care essentials, such as oxygen and medicines. Noting that India was currently facing a national emergency-like situation, the SC bench led by Chief Justice SA Bobde asked the Centre to submit its plan on Covid preparedness, including the details of the nationwide vaccination drive plan."We have 4 issues primarily in mind - supply of oxygen, supply of essential drugs and manner of vaccination," said the CJI. This incident has created turmoil in the police department. Getting information various teams of police have started work on the ground and searches are going on. Tripura COVID-19 Restrictions : 50% Gath | AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): With the increasing alarming rates of COVID-19 cases in the state Tripura, along with the whole nation, Tripura has imposed night curfews along with other restrictions imposed on gatherings. It has been said that in closed spaces, a maximum of 50% of the seating/hall capacity should allowed for any social, cultural, entertainment or political gathering with a ceiling of 100 persons. In open spaces, higher numbers may be allowed based on the size of the ground / space with a ceiling of 200 persons. Maximum 100 persons may be allowed in marriage/ birthday & other social functions both in public or private place.Maximum 20 persons should be allowed in funeral last rites related gathering.
