By providing merely 6000 jobs, including | AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath under storms of controversy after he concluded unemployment trend at only 1.9 lakhs just by providing 6000 jobs (over 3000 are via outsourcing, contractual), making a high fall of unemployed youths numbers from 7.5 lakhs which BJP itself claimed before 2018 election. After the Minister's statement, netizens have hit the Minister over his baseless claims, as state Tripura is reeling under acute job-crisis. According to the Minister around 5.5 lakhs jobs were given whereas his own given data says only 6000 jobs were given in last 2 years. However, he added in defence about "Job Fairs" and "Self-Dependency" of youths, making a way to job creators. COVID-19 : Tripura State Health Dept Off | AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN): Inhuman display of attitude against own family member was witnessed on Friday after an elder brother had cut the connectivity of water in his younger brother’s home. Getting information, SDM Ashim Saha had ordered the elder brother to restore the water connectivity but as it was not restored, he himself rushed to the spot and supplied drinking water to the quarantined person, but as the line was cut and it is already night, so the culprit elder brother has assured the SDM that by tomorrow the connectivity will be restored. Talking to media, SDM said, “Pradip Krishna Debbarma, who resides in Town Hall area has returned to home after he arrived from another state. But his elder brother Kajal Krishna Debbarma, who is a Govt employee under Health Dept, had cut the water connectivity to his brother’s home. Unknown Dead Body of young man Recovered | JIRANIA, June 5 (TIWN): A dead body of a young man was recovered at Jampuijala road under Jirania today morning, generated panic across the area. The body belongs a young man, but could not be identified yet. Talking to the locals, they said that this body was found by the local people but he does not belong to this village. Huge team of Police rushed to the spot. SDPO, Suman Majumder said, “We were informed that a male unknown dead body was recovered here and after getting information, we rushed to the spot. Massive Crop Damages hit South Tripura F | SANTIR BAZAR (South Tripura), June 5 (TIWN): South Tripura’s farmers are reeling under massive losses as rain has destroyed their grains and damaged the harvested items in two phases of raining. A large area of the South Tripura has gone under water whereas the devastated farmers have demanded State Govt’s notice into the matter and paying proper compensations. Recently, in another flash of rains and flood, the vegetables cultivation of the farmers left fully damaged, whereas now this rain has damaged the grains further. Amid lockdown period such situations have caused double losses to the farmers of the state. As the grains are now under water, thus the farmers are unable to lift their harvested items, left rotten.
