AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has reviewed the quarintine status and administrative works in various parts of North Tripura and Unakoti district on Wednesday.
It was third review visit of the Chief Minister to rural parts covering five districts in last one week-- on the first day, he took stock of latest COVID19 situation in Sepahijala district, the second visit was in various parts of Gomati and Khowai districts and on Wednesday he covered several rural places in North Tripura and Unakoti districts.
While visiting various places on Wednesday, the Chief Minister not only reviewed corona situation or quarantine status but also held threadbare discussions with the local body representatives about the implementation status of different government schemes.
He had interactions with many of the people who are in home surveillance or institutional quarantine centres. He also held discussions with local health officials and staff.
While interacting with the local body representatives, the Chief Minister has stressed on proper implementation of all government schemes. He also passed an instruction so that every eligible person gets the benefits of such schemes.
Today, the review visit of Chief Minister had commenced from North Ganganagar quarantine centre in Dharmanagar under North Tripura district and concluded at institutional quarantine centre in Panchayeti Raj Training Institute, Kumarghat under Unakoti district.
The other places where the Chief Minister paid visits today included Jubarajnagar R.D. Block office, North Ganganagar Gram Panchayat, Balicherra S.B. School under Kalacherra block in Dharmanagar, Balicherra ADC village council office, Bargola Gram Panchayat office under Kadamtala R.D Block, Panisagar community health centre, Regional College of Physical Education at Panisagar (Institutional quarantine centre, Agnipasa Gram Panchayat and a local village quarantine centre in Panisagar and Nabincherra village under Pecharthal R.D. Block.
During the visit in North Tripura, the Chief Minister was accompanied by MLA Biswabandhu Sen and administrative officials.
