AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): Over fifty migrant passengers denied to stay in Patharkandi quarantine center for the lack of facilities there and tried to escape.
Allegedly on Thursday when the migrant workers returned to they were asked to stay in Bilbari Shrikrishnaram high school near Patharkandi area. But after seeing the bad condition of the school the workers have denied to stay and chaos has been created between the workers and administrative members.
One of the migrants alleged,"The condition of quarantine center is terrible. The least facilities for living is not available there."
Over 50 workers tried to escape from there. Later, police caught them and made them admitted to the center with the promise of arranging all the necessary items in there.
