GB hospital narrowly escaped from massive fire breakout

AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN) : people at AGMC on Friday narrowly escaped from a massive fire break due to the electricity malfunction at Microbiology department in the hospital premises. Panic gripped the area, when such incident broke out in the hospital.
Reportedly, the incident took place at mid hour of Friday from AC wire at Microbiology department. Two fire service engines have rushed to the spot from Kunjaban fire brigade and controlled the fire from spreading further.
There is no report of any suspicious incident behind the technical fault of the electricity connection in the department and also there is no report of casualty so far, confirmed security guard.
A tragedy was narrowly averted at the hospital after the fire break out. The occurrence of the incident saw dozens of patients being evacuated although nobody was reported injured in the incident.
However, initiatives must be taken to improve the health service of the state to avoid such unwanted disasters.
