In the reply to the RTI application of Subashish Dey, S/O-Late Khitish Chandra Dey, resident of Dhaleswar, the Director of Health Service in Tripura J K Dev Varma wrote, “In the hearing it reveals that the appeal is justified. It is also learnt that interview board has marks in the interview out of 100 without mentioning any classificationâ€. In the presence of TIWN journalist at Trinamool Bhawan, TMC also disclosed how 4 times the recruitment policy was changed by the left front govt in last 3 years for C & D category jobs. Mysterious death of 20 years girl studen | AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): A mysterious death of a 20 years girl student named Mousumi Sarkar has erupted much tension in Agartala Shivnagar area on Thursday. TIWN reported from the spot where her dead body was found that her death is full of mystery & no young person can die like this. Nobody can understand seeing her that she is dead, the TIWN correspondent reported from Shivnagar. Reportedly, she stays with her brother Rahul Sarkar, who is reading in Bodjongnagar School in class-XI. Mousumi was reading in Telimaura College, and often she comes to meet her brother at Shivnagar, where he was residing in rent. It was at around 4 PM that Rahul understood that his sister is no more, witnesses told TIWN on spot. It was also heard that Rahul has mentioned about a towel found on her neck, which has created much suspicion against the case.West Women Police, led by DySP Olivia Debbarma rushed to the spot. But nothing can be said, before the postmortem of her body. Police is presently investigating the case. The LPG crisis has hit the black-market also. Unbelievable but true TIWN was informed by secret sources that in LPG black-market the price has gone upto Rs. 3000/-. The rate is getting up-down from Rs. 2200/- to Rs. 3000/. On the other hand the backlog problem of LPG & generating resentment among the common mass, have hit the cabinet also. Reportedly, already the state govt has written a letter to IOCL & also demand raised by Tripura Govt. that using Bangladesh land, the LPG should enter in Tripura. But public alleged that the state government is not taking proper initiative to control the situation. The huge number of black marketing of LPG cylinder is the chief reason behind acute cooking gas shortage in the state, a customer told TIWN. Black marketers of domestic cooking gas cylinders seem to have devised new ways to carry out their activities, despite the introduction of the modified direct benefit transfer scheme for LPG. In a recent development it has been known that whereas all the Northeastern states are implementing 7th Pay Commission, Left-ruled Tripura & Congress-ruled Mizoram have delayed the 7th Central Pay Commission’s recommendations for their employees. Central Govt is allocating the full salary for each & every Tripura Govt employees, but Manik Sarkar giving half of it, looting the rest of the money saying that the money is using for other citizens’ welfares, whereas RMSA working staffs lost their jobs but Tripura govt could not ensure their jobs with that hefty money. No life-loss although has been reported to TIWN but train service fully stopped in NE Tripura centering on Churaibari, North Tripura. Nothing can be said how far the track was damaged but Dharmanagar TIWN correspondent via phone reported that the mishap caused extensive damage to track due to the derailment, but work on repairing the tracks are going on in full wave.
