CHURAIBARI, Oct 19 (TIWN): Atleast 500 members strong Army contigent had to be deployed at Churaibari on Tuesday, when local-traders disrupted the ongoing works under Central Govt.

According to local traders, for developmental works stones and other equipments have to be bought from local businessmen, but not from other states.

Oriental Company has taken charge of many developmental works from Sabroom, and central govt at the very beginning said no forest dept., police would interrupt the work.

The company is bringing materials from Assam in much cheaper price, with the full approval of the Govt.

But at Churaibari the local businessmen stopped the work fully,and  after that atleast 500 armies had been deployed at there.

Now, due to the local interference the Central govt work is disrupting in Tripura, which has created much resentment among a section of people.
