It’s worthy to mention here that an umbrella body of bank unions had called for a nationwide strike on July 29 to protest against the government’s banking reforms.
Tripura MP Shankar Prasad Dutta during a mass convention held at Rabindra Bhawan said that the central govt. of India has consistently worked in support of private banks, whereas the Govt. banks are under huge loss.
But can left front govt. answer why it’s against privatization, whereas the private banks are giving excellent delivery their customers?
Most unfortunately, whereas the bankers crying for non-privatization, before few years Chit-Fund companies looted crores from Tripura, but govt couldn’t do anything against it.
But when growth and developments are coming for private interfere the left front govt having much problems.
Tripura Gramin Banks however have undergone huge losses in the last FYs, as these banks are only responsible for salary of the employee, loan distribution—which helps the banks to make some profit.
No investment policy, lack of experst have left the govt banks under huge losses.
